Login Process Steps

1

Access the Sync Login Page

Primary Method: Open your web browser and navigate to https://www.sync.com/login

Alternative Methods:

  • Click the "Login" button on the Sync homepage (top-right corner)
  • Use the Sync mobile app and tap "Login" on the welcome screen
  • Open the Sync desktop application and select "Login to Account"

Important Security Note: Always verify you're on the official Sync website by checking the URL begins with "https://" and has a lock icon in the address bar. This ensures your connection is encrypted and secure.

2

Enter Your Account Credentials

Email Address: Enter the exact email address you used when creating your Sync account. This is case-sensitive.

Password: Enter your Sync account password. Passwords are case-sensitive and must be at least 8 characters long.

Remember Me Option: Check this box only if you're on a personal, secure device. This will keep you logged in for 30 days. Do NOT check this on public or shared computers.

Troubleshooting: If you can't remember your password, click "Forgot your password?" to reset it via email. You'll receive a password reset link valid for 24 hours.

Enterprise Users: If your organization uses Single Sign-On (SSO), you may see an option to "Login with SSO" instead of entering credentials directly.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) - If Enabled

What is 2FA? Two-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. After entering your password, you'll need to provide a second verification method.

2FA Methods:

  • Email Verification: A 6-digit code sent to your registered email
  • Authenticator App: Use apps like Google Authenticator or Authy
  • SMS Verification: Code sent to your mobile phone (if configured)
  • Backup Codes: One-time use codes provided when you set up 2FA

Entering the Code: You'll have 5 minutes to enter the 6-digit verification code. After successful entry, you may be asked if you want to "Trust this device" to skip 2FA on future logins from this device.

Lost Access? If you can't access your 2FA method, use backup codes or contact Sync support with account verification details.
